    Catching Yall Up….KASSEY

Well, things are settling down some now, it seems. I’m finally getting used to ‘my’ recliner
being in a new spot. I now just curl up in the seat. And I don’t dare get on the back of it like
I used to. It just looks funny. She protects the furniture with sheets and one of her tops is
draped over it and it’s a different color. Even though I prefer things to stay the same, she
    keeps re-arranging the furniture.

At least I didn’t have to move to her bathroon when the ‘bug man’ came. She just closed
my door with my pan close to the door. She had just gotten home from the Honda place and
was surprized by the ‘bug man’.

We’ve been having some nice rain lately and yesterday, our storm radio came on with alerts.
We were blessed again and didn’t have to go into our closet. I don’t like that closet cuz I need
plenty of space. I remember the last time, it was hot weather..too hot to be cooped up in a closet.

On a sad note here.. Betsy, our neighbor, lost her son. I like Betsy and she asks my human about me
when they meet outside and talk and she visits too. I love company as yall know.

On a happy note…Andy has a new Grand-Daughter and her pix will be posted soon we hope. Of course,
I’m anxious to see her too…..from a safe distance.

Until next time, God’s Blessings To Everyone……. KasseyCat face

    HP PC Arrival…etc

My new HP laptop is now at home and it’s behaving rather well.
As soon I can, I plan to get the free ‘Windows 7" that was another selling point.
I may have already mentioned this. Every PC is so different, but I think this one
and I will be friends. lol… I hope.  I never liked Norton, but I have it free for 60 days.
I don’t know if I’ll continue with it or not.

Kassey has ignored this new toy, but the day isn’t over. lol  She’s napping
today in front of the window, looking for the sun. But, it’s cloudy and like so many
of us, we’re supposed to have big weather changes. Of course, I’m wishing for snow,
as usual coz we seldom get anything more than a dusting.

congratulations,, generally speaking, the newer the machine is, the easier to operate, so you will get use to your new toy very quickly.

I\’m glad to hear you\’re enjoying your new laptop. I\’m sure curiosity will get the better of Kassey sooner or later. It\’s funny how cats like to check out everything new that we bring into the house isn\’t it? My cats are all over me when I bring something new home, especially groceries, they always manage to sniff out the bag with their cat treats in it. LOL.Have fun with your new toy. 🙂

Hope you get along well with your new laptop – don\’t know those brand names mentioned – guess we have different names here in Australia, though one of our anti-virus names in Norton. Kassey will eventually examine your new toy! Have a good day Ann. Smiles.

Congratulations. Sounds like a good choice to me, also. You may have read a post I wrote several months ago about hating keyboards. That was on a HP laptop and they have felt less sturdy than others to me. Just don\’t catch a blouse sleeve on the right arrow/end key and you should be fine.Peace, Doc

Boy, I won\’t ever put Norton back on my computer! Once you get it on, it\’s almost impossible to delete it. I always use AVG, which is free, by the way. Hope it all works out for you.

    Special Company ….Casper

Last night, Andy brought his grandson , Casper by. He’s
doing well and just had his first birthday. His big sister , Jade
had to go to the ER with a high fever. She does have flu-like
symtoms, but she seems to be ok. With the flu season, you
just have to watch them closely and hope and pray it’s not
    the dreaded swine flu.

Kassey kept her distance as he was toddling around.
I took some pics and will add them to the photos later.
Cat face  Kassey gave up and went to bed in her room and I’ll
be turning in soon. I hope everyone rests well tonight.

    New HP Laptop

I’ve been somewhat disappointed with my SONY laptop. I have a SONY

desktop that is still good and its 5yrs. old. I decided to upgrade my monitor
so I gave the monitor to Andy. He’ll get the whole thing anyhow when I die.
I have a TV monitor  (bigger) that I want to add to the Sony desktop. It has
been a good TV, but I don’t use it….just watch the monster in the living-room.

Today I went to Staples and bought an HP laptop and I’ll get a free upgrade
to Windows 7. Well, I sure hope it has better performance than Vista, which I
hate. I wonder if it’s the reason for so many crashes on my SONY. Of course,
maybe I just got a LEMON at BEST BUY.

I bought the USB stick from Tmobile and I’m really happy with it. I’m allowed
5 GB and I’ve only used lest than 3GB since Sept.4. I can also use it on the HP.

I hope everyone has a blessed and peaceful night and a Good Lord’s Day tomorrow.
        Goodnight and sleep well, GGB

I\’ve never had a problem yet with Vista and have it on both of the computers I now use. My desktop is an HP Slimline and this laptop is an HP Pavilion and I love both of them. Hopefully yours will be as good as the ones I have. All of my printers I\’ve ever had or have are HP\’s. I don\’t think you can beat them. Good luck with the laptop.

Hi and good morning! I have had HP\’s for several years. Before that I had a Sony which died after 2 years. Hy HP\’s have been excellent. Now I have to say I do like Vista OK. But..each to his own and Kassie probably wants something more her way when she blogs. So you need to do whatever she suggests. I\’m going to early service so I\’ll get cracking here. (((HIUGS))) to you both.

I have had my last 3 computers built by some Japanese folks in my big city. They build computers for the University of Illinois. I am well satisfied with their work. I don\’t like Vista though and will be glad to upgrade to Windows 7. You will get the hang of your new laptop.

I think sometimes it must be the computer. I have a cheap Acer I got 2 years ago with vista and have never had any real problems . I rarely have crashes. But I keep my system cleaned up and up todate. Hope all goes well with your new one..

    FRIDAY…good so far

IT SEEMS TO HAVE DRIZZLED SOME BEFORE DAYBREAK. AND II
WAS A BIT DIM,DANK,DARK, DREARY. WELL, I GUESS MY LITTLE
GIRL COULDN’T TAKE IT , SO SHE WENT BACK TO BED. I DON’T
HAVE ANY PLANS FOR THE DAY, EXCEPT MAYBE THE SAME OLD
STUFF. I’M THANKFUL THAT I CAN BE UP AND MOVING AROUND
AS SO MANY CAN’T. THANK YOU, LORD.
THE SUN IS OUT NOW, ABOUT 64 F, GOOD TIME TO GET CRACK-
ING….woops, it this an ugly word? didn’t mean it to be…not my
style. I DO NEED TO GET UP AND MOVING AND CHECK ON MY GIRL.
I THOUGHT I WAS SLIPPIG UP ON HER TO TAKE A PIC OF HER NAP-
PING..ain’t gonna happen even when I turn on the camera in another
room. DOES SHE EVER SLEEP SOUNDLY? OH WELL, I SLEEP WITH ONE EAR
TO THE GROUND TOO….years of needing too.
SHE DID SLEEP WITH ME LAST NIGHT UNTIL THE PHONE RANG. I TRY
TO KEEP THE RINGER DOWN A BIT SO SHE WON’T BE DISTURBED. SHE
DIDN’T STEP ON ME LAST NIGHT. SHE JUMPED ACROSS ME TO GET IN
HER BED. I ,OF COURSE, THANKED HER. lol
I SUPPOSE I NEED TO EAT SOME REAL FOOD NOW. I ONLY HAD COFFEE
AND MY HOMEMADE TEA CAKES AFTER MY THYROID PILL EARLIER. GOTTA
PLAY CATCHUP TOO ON LAUNDRY AND LOADING THE DISHWASHER…same old stuff.
YOU KNOW, THE WRITER, SEEMS TO BE SCREWYSO I DON’T USE IT. BUT, EVEN
WHEN MY TYPING LOOKS GOOD, IT SOMETIMES COMES OUT WHOMPER-JAWED..lol

       YALL HAVE A BLESSED ONE…..GGB

Me and Miss Catt are whomperjawed ourselves this morning. It\’s raining again and she is in a so-so mood. She asked me to get up awfully early this morning. Mine hears the camera too. they know they are going to be enduring that flash so they try to get ready for it i think. One eye open against Mom coming..sneaking (I do it too) in to catch her in her beauty sleep. Not that she needs beauty sleep, Neither one of them. And no, that sure isn\’t an ugly word. It just means bones creaking and popping and cracking, and like the whip ol\’ Simon Legree had. Just means get moving. 🙂

Oh, you gave me such a laugh. My mother in law who would be 113 years old if she was still living used to use the phrase \’whomper-jawed\’ a lot. I had never heard it before her.

Perhaps its time to get Miss Kitty a whirlpool and then she can be "whomper-jawed" at the sight of it….grin. Granny, you are such a delight. I\’ve accumulated quite a bit of my east Tennessee in just listening to the local mountain folk. Would post it but afraid that it would scare people off….grin. Lawdy, lawdy I wish I could remember being 40!!J.W.L.
