    Rainy Day In AL

It’ s  47 degrees down here now and a cold rain. I’ve not heard a weather

report today from the guessers. We only got rain last night and a noisy

weather radio. I just left it on all night so my sleep would not be inter-

rupted. The threat of Tornadoes seemed to be past. I’m so happy that

the closet was unneeded for me and Kassey. I have not re-loaded the

closet yet, waiting for further weather news. There’s not that much out

anyhow. Maybe, I’ll just stuff it somewhere else, maybe like the dump.

That’s about it, I guess, except, Rambling, if you see this, Your new blog

    doesn’t exists……LOL.

Hi, Marji, thank you. Kassey and I are warm, although it gets chilly here at the toy.
We have blue skies, no rain or snow in sight, 34 degrees. Have a good day and stay warm.

    Bad Weather Expected Tonight

As soon as I started typing the weather alert radio sounded.

It looks like it might be an all nighter watching for Tornadoes.

I’ve got the closet ready again and the watch  is to be now until

7:00 AM.  Kassey went to bed.  I hate to wake her if it gets stormy

to put her in her carrier, but we’ll head for the closet. The last bag

of nip I fixed for her was in her carrier from the last time. I couldn’t

think of where it might be, thinking she hid it. She was glad to get it.

About all for now, I guess. I wish safety for us all.

My gosh Ann…are you two alright now? Has the weather calmed? I saw a tornado watch block on the weather map in your general direction.

Hi, Carole, yes we’re fine. I don’t think Athens had anything, just rain and a little wind, not bad. Thank you for asking.

Sunny Cold Saturday,Just Nothing Much, etc

We had frost, don’t know what the temp was when we got up. It was in the 30’s at

bedtime about 9:30. I just turn on the usual re-runs to put me to sleep. I prefer

comedies before sleep and I don’t watch anything  violent. As you see, I have nothing to write about except I had a good wintertime breakfast of 2 fried eggs

and 2 small homemade biscuits and coffee, gotta have that coffee.

I do not know why the lines turned out this way. Maybe I hit the enter button

too hard..lol  Kassey is waiting for her sun puddle by her window. It’s the

only place in the apt. with sun streaming through. Our apartment is located

in a good spot close to the office, making the trek to the mailbox and garbage

quite handy. The parking area is lit up very bright, so we feel very safe. The

back has a light as well but doesn’t shine in the window like the front ones do.

See? nothing much, just touching base..Oh one last thing, this whole thing looks funny and I’ve had a problem with the internet. I can’t add tags either.

    Everyone stay warm.

    The Big Black Friday

I care not to join the masses, but I may venture out later to pick up some bananas, ice cream. And if I can get down the toy isle, I’ll take a gander, maybe. I still don’t know what their heart’s desire is. Maybe their G-Dad can ask and pass along the info.
It is cold here, which I don’t mind when shopping and the high is to be about 48 degrees.
I saw on our local neews last night, that Best Buy was controlling the humungous line of shoppers by letting 50 in at a time as they remembered the trampling incident last year at a discount store. They said some had been there for 24 hours. I wonder how it turned out. Maybe they’ll tell on the news tonight.

I wouldn’t give a wooden nickel ta be caught up in that “Black Friday” storm. For Canadians going down, it’s not only the crowds in the stores, but the friggin mess at the borders. I wouldn’t want ta guess how long folk will wait just for they’s turn ta get cross the road to ta’ other side.

Read you stayed home alone Thanksgiving Hon. Hope ya had a good evening.

Hi, Grumps, thanks for stopping by. It was my choice to stay home. I just made some baked chicken breast with herbs and a sweet potato. I was online all day and I enjoyed the day. My son had a time thawing out a 25lb turkey and he said evrything would be ready about 8 PM. They live in deer country and I didn’t want to risk being hit by a deer in my Honda.

    Cold Weather Coming

It has been very warm today but rain is on it’s way and much colder

temps. The guesser said we may see snow flurries, yeah right. Even

flurries would be  energizing  as I feel so much better in cool weather.

So many get snow to the extreme and I don’t envy those poor souls.

But just a smidgen will do.

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and enjoyed being with

family and being thankful for their many blessings.

Forecasts seem to be we are in for a long hard winter, I have been putting off switching on the rest of the fires, because they are electric they cost a fortune, but I think the time has come ! Hope you have a nice weekend x

I’m not using much heat today as it blows directly on me and this computer. I’m going to close the vent if I can climb close enough. The only bad kind of Winter we have is bitter cold and I don’t know what their prediction is for us. We rarely see snow except for a dusting. Stay warm and enjoy your weekend.

Staying Home ON Thanksgiving With A Thankful Heart

I had tentatively  planned a long drive to TN today to be

with my Son. I decided not to as the weather is quite iffy today.

The dark clouds roll by and then blue skies appear. So who knows.

I’m quite content to be at home today with Kassey and my cyber

friends. I ‘m blessed to have plenty to eat this Thanksgiving, but

most of all, I’m thankful for my family and they are a loving bunch.

My 3 sons never fail to close a conversation without those precious

3 words, ‘I Love You’. What Mother could ask for anything more?

It’s my choice to be home with Kassey and I may pay Walmart a

visit later, God willing, don’t leave Him out. Without God, we would

    have no blessings.

    She Did It Again….Kassey

Mom went to Andy’s again and she saw 3 new puppies. Now I might

have liked seeing those babies. So maybe he will bring one by some-

time like he did his new baby kitten. Of course, I wasn’t impressed.

I’m a loner and I rule here. However, I do enjoy company for awhile.

I checked her clothes when she got home and there it was , the doggie

smell. Now this is getting to be a habit. But she tells me ‘I’m still yours.’

We’ll try to get some photos  here  of yours  truly rubbing my smell on

    her clothes.Kassey on dryer

I don’t know anything about this, a new kink to me.

The gallery thingy, alien to me. Oh well, Maybe

    we’ll learn…..Kassey

    Mom Was Unfaithful….Kassey

    Mom Was Unfaithful Today…..Kassey

Mom left me alone early this morning as she went to Andy’s.

Andy’s car is sick so Mom had to take them to Florence to
Sheila’s back Doctor. She finally got home this afternoon
and I did not meet her at the door . She came to my bed-
room where I was enjoying my sun puddle. Well, after I
smelled dog and cat on her, I was not happy. I think she
has been giving my affection to Andy and Sheila’s pets.
How can she do this? She has some nerve. She loved on
me some and then said she had to go heat some food.
Well, I followed her meowing.. I wasn’t hungry. I just
    needed some more loving.
I am in the bedroom with her as she relates how I’m feeling.
Yesterday she put her toy back in the bedroom and I’m on
the bed and I’m depressed even as she pawses to talk to me.
She keeps asking if I’m gonna sleep with her tonight. Well,
Blessings to all my furry friends especially the ones who
    aren’t  feeling well. xxxxx Kassey

Aww be fair Kassey, your Mom was being very kind and helpful to other people, you know that she loves you lots but sometimes you have to share.
(My Mum is writing this for me as I have not learnt how to use the black box thing myself. I am Bracken and I am a dog, but I like to be friends with cats!)

Kassey its just a little passing feeling mummy loves you very much.
I remember when I had a little tabby female cat many years ago, I went on holiday for a week which probably felt like a short lifetime to her. When I returned she turned her nose up at me and ran up stairs, but she soon came round in the end. We had a little nose rubbing and a purr , all was well. Hugs Sheila x

    Cold Way Down Here

The dark clouds are moving in. Of course by the time I finish, it may be clear. It will be cold enough for snow. but probably it will go North to TN. Andy and his wife have to make a trip tomorrow about 50 miles one way. They don’t need snow to hinder them. Our low temp here is expected to be 35 and colder this weekend. Maybe Kassey will cuddle with me, but she usually sleeps close to my legs, in the knee bends if possible. That’s about all for this Thursday.
