    SATURDAY RANT…lost Kassey Blog

Kassey lost her Thanksgiving blog because I didn’t have Live Writer…..couldn’t save it
nor publish it. This really aggravates me. I had to download that crock and then lost it. I’ve not always
used Live Writer, no need to, so why , after a blog is ready, should this occur?  I don’t know if I can
re-write it, but  I’ll try. Maybe I should start writing in my email and copy to my space. At least I’ll
have a copy. Someone else I know does that, so I’ll give it a try.

    Blessings Always, GGB

I’d lost a couple ‘a blobs to cyber-dust in the beginning, and vowed it’d never happen again. I had since wrote out each ‘a my blobs on a “word” document, and have still every single one ‘a them saved in a file, and backed up on external hard drive. When done writing out yer blob on “word” doc, copy ‘n paste. Never again would you loose a blob to cyber-dust.

I hope Kassey is able to retrieve her Thanksgiving blog. I have lost too many posts to count on spaces.

I had to start using live writer cuz writing directly to the blog was fouling up my pictures. It was so frustrating! Good luck with all of it, and we\’ll be waiting!

    Kassey’s Wednesday Rant..MAD CAT

Monday, ‘she’ took me to the vet, cuz I was scratching so. I never go out so we don’t know
how it happened but I had those sorry fleas. And it was almost time for my rabies shot, which
is so rediculus for an ‘inside cat’.
I was ok while being weighed… no harm in that. Well, somebody picked me up and put me
on the table. Before I knew what was happening, she held me like my mama did. And then I felt
something sticking me. As if that wasn’t enough, someone stuck me again. I jumped up, scared
everybody, including my human. I lost some hair too on that table. The needle human dropped the
needle and grabbed the vet. These humans had a good laugh at my expense. While one human had
a good grip, she stuck me good and I was so growling mad. After the shots, the human holding me,
said  " Go" to the needle human. She put this liquid stuff on the back of my neck. Finally, I was put
back in my carrier and we went home. It took a loooong time, it seems for the allergy shot and liquid
    to go to work.
Today, Wednesday, so far is a peaceful day , with no more fleas. She bought me a new flea color
to use after the Frontline expires. And we have flea powder to sprinkle on the carpet. I’m sure I’ll be
in a closed room while she does this, so I can’t walk in it. I’m happy now and I hope you all are ok.
                Blessings Always Everyone, KasseyCat face

Oh Kassey, I feel for you. My human hauls me off in my carrier when she can catch me every few months for a blood test because I have hyperthyroidism. I hate going and I cry and cry. It upsets mama no end. I got fleas too, two times from the Vet tech who came to look after me for a weekend while mama went to see one of her sons. They brought fleas in..I had them and the carpets were alive with them. I was so miserable. It took mama 3 months with applying Frontline Plus each month on the back of my neck, to get rid of them. They get killed by biting me. Vacuuming thoroughly each day after Mama put the medicine on me helped a lot. Forgive mama..she is trying to help you. She loves you and you love her.Miss Catt

Oh Kassy, we really feel for you. Fleas suck big time. Only one of us cats is allowed outdoors…and the dog goes out too, so no doubt those to haul the fleas in. We are subjected to that liquidy stuff on the backs of our necks once a month…but mama goes nuts with that horrid vacuum cleaner too. Thank goodness mama applies the flea stuff and we don\’t have to all be hauled down to the vet every month. You take careMidnight, the two new little terrorist kittens Tigger and Scooby, and I guess I better add the other feline Simba…or she might get mad at me. The dog, Raydar, sends you a woof woof, as well (silly dogs…don\’t they know that a "Meow" is much more sophisticated).

Poor Kassy, I hate when you and your friends have to have all those chemicals to deal with fleas. Also those darn rabies shots. Evidence is now out that rabies shots can last up to 10 years in your system after you have had a couple or are older. There is also a test some vets can run to check that the rabies shot is still effective in the body so you don\’t have to have one so often. We have to have them because we cross the border but that is now the only shot we received as we are now older and it has also been proven that most other shots are are nolonger needed. But unfortunetly I will have to get one this year for crossing the border again. I hate the trip and the shots also.. We are lucky we have no fleas and don\’t have to wear flee collars or powders. My human gets them occasionaly a few times during the year but they have never bothered us. Hope you are feeling much better not having to itch so much now.. hugs from Siriun and Wildflower (who is still being taking care of by a friend till we get there to get her) and my human Carrie

    LEARNING TO SHARE…etc….KASSEY

I can’t believe I actually shared ‘my’ recliner with her last night.
She had a tiring day doing her usual thing. Maybe she’ll get everything
like she wants it, one day. She said I had to use the couch, so she could
use the recliner while she watched the baseball game and be online too.
She thought I had gone to the bedroom, so she called me. In the dim light,
she saw me on the couch, in an alert position, of course. Well, she had called
my name…lol  She then told me I could come and sit with her. I did just that.
I curled up beside her. Now this was a first for us, cuz I won’t even sit in her lap.
Andy moved the desktop back in the bedroom and that’s where we are now.
We can see more goings-on in here. And she got that corner by the TV uncluttered.
We have plenty of room with the twin bed, which needs to be replaced. Just recently,
she turned over too far and was nearly dumped in the floor. She does amuse me…. lol
Until next time….you furry friends keep laughing at your humans.
     Blessing Always,  KasseyCat face

Funny Kassey!! I hope your human gets the furniture arranged the way YOU like it soon. My human doesn\’t dare change anything because my two brothers and I just move things back the way they were. A big grey kitty had the nerve to jump into my yard and I had to chase him/her off. Hope it wasn\’t a friend of yours but this is a \’No Kitty\’ zone! But Dad still feeds the strays…… with MY food!!!Take care Kassey!! Keep your human on her toes!Bonnie

    AMY ROSE….BACK HOME

Thank you all for your prayers for Amy Rose. She was x-rayed with blood work and seems to be OK.
She got strangled on her formula when it was upchucked and could not get her breathe. So she was rush-
ed by ambulance to the ER. They live about 12 miles from the hopital. While in the hospital, she sat in her
carseat because they were concerned that she could have GURD. The other concern is that there was
blood in her stool probably caused by a tear from a hard stool. This is about all I know, except that her
Mother is very busy. She said she’d had about 6 hrs. sleep since Amy was born.
I hope to have some pix when Andy brings them for download. I’m so blessed with friends like you who
believe in the power of prayer.

        Blessings Always, GGBRed rose

Wow! It is such a scare! It happened to Ana when she was a baby, too. By the time she was in the hospital, she came out fine. One must be careful of the formulas and stay alert when and after feeding the baby with formula. You could never know how it would go through their body. Glad she is okay and hope to see pictures of her soon. =) Have a great day!

I am back after a long time away and I am not up to speed on your blogs yet. But Amy Rose appears to have had a less than easy start to her life. I do hope that all is well now and she is beginning to thrive. There have been many prayers extended and I shall of course add mine.Ossie.
